Freely Give, Freely Receive
By: Kim Lewis
Our lives are richer when we share! It was always instilled in me from a very young age, that we have a responsibility to make our communities better and to help others. My family viewed giving as an act of love that was rooted in our hearts and a part of our soul.
Giving richly comes from many outlets besides money: love, hope, faith, patience, courage, peace, passion, and time.  Offer value to others with no strings attached. Always start a relationship by asking or thinking: “How can I help you?” Try putting yourself in other people’s shoes and figure out how you can help them. It can be fun and rewarding to piece together your network to find someone who can help.
When you’re focused on giving to others, you’re less likely to become consumed by your own concerns and challenges. Giving provides an opportunity to look beyond our own world and see the bigger picture.
You’ll find that the more you give, the more you’ll receive. If you want to have happiness, you need to give happiness. If you want love, you need to give love. It is only in giving that you receive.
No matter what your circumstances in life, you have the ability to give. I encourage you to look for opportunities where you can give and help others.
